At Dorian Ford, we got you covered by offering our loyal Dorian Ford customers the Lease-End Extension Program. With this program, customers with a lease ending, are eligible to extend their lease for several months. By extending your vehicle lease, you will be able to keep your current Ford car, truck, or SUV until your new ordered Ford is ready.

1. How can I extend my lease?


You will be able to request a lease end extension digitally through Account Manager | Official Site of Ford Credit for Ford. If you are not registered in Account Manager, you can request the extension by contacting Ford Lease Assistants at 1-855-573-9740 during available extended hours (8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Eastern Time Monday-Friday).

2. Am I required to place a retail order for a new Ford to be eligible for this program?


No. However, we encourage you to place a retail order and extend your Ford lease if needed. You also have the choice to get a new vehicle from our inventory.

3. How many months can I extend my lease under this program?


You are eligible for a one (1) month lease end extension. However, if you have placed a retail order on a new vehicle then you will be able to extend your lease until your ordered vehicle arrives.

4. Can I terminate my lease before the new termination date?

Yes. You are eligible to terminate your lease at any time after the original termination date and will not be responsible for unpaid remaining monthly payments. You will still be responsible for all amounts due under your lease (including unpaid monthly payments already due, late charges, etc.), as well as excess wear and use, disposition fee, and mileage charges, if applicable.

5. Will I have any extended warranty coverage with my lease end extension?


It depends, all new vehicles have a 3 year / 36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5 year / 60,000 miles powertrain warranty, and a 5 year / 60,000 miles road side assistance warranty. If your leased vehicle is no longer eligible for warranty coverage (by going over the warranty mileage or year term) then you won’t have any extended warranty coverage with a lease end extension. However, mileage and year term service contracts are available. 6. Will my WearCare be extended with the lease end extension?


Yes. Your WearCare will be extended automatically at no additional cost. 

7. Will my mileage allowance be extended?


Yes. Your mileage allowance will be extended based on a pro-rated calculation.
For example:
– Customer currently has 12,000 per year mileage allowance
– 12,000 miles per year / 12 months = 1,000 miles per month
– 1,000 miles per month x 6-Month extension = 6,000 additional miles added to mileage allowance 

8. Do all my lease payments need to be made before my lease end extension is processed?


No, but you must be current when requesting/processing the lease end extension. You can request a lease end extension at any time during your lease. For more information please contact your Dorian Ford sales person.

9. What happens if I’m on automatic payments?


If the lease end extension is processed after the final payment is received, you will need to make arrangements to either send a payment or have a nonscheduled payment sent to bring the account current. Automatic payments will continue after the payment is made. If you request a lease end extension and the final payment has not been made, automatic payments will continue.

10. When I contact Ford Credit, what should I expect?


For you to take advantage of this program, register / login to your Ford Credit Account Manager, click on the lease end extension banner and complete the “Contact Us” form. Please select “Request a Lease End Extension” in the subject category. Your Personal Lease Assistant team will process your extension. 11. What if there is a co-lessee on my lease?

Extensions will need to be authorized by both you (the lessee) and your co-lessee.

12. What are the PLA (Personal Lease Assistants) team hours?


Personal Lease Assistants are available extended hours (8 a.m.-8 p.m. Eastern Time Monday-Friday) at 855-573-9740 to provide a seamless experience for you.
