Trim Levels

The 2022 Bronco Sport lineup features four fun trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands. The Base is the essential SUV, bringing classic Bronco styling into the modern driving era with refined shapes and updated textures. Its Carbon Black grille showcases black BRONCO lettering, pairing nicely with configurable daytime running lights. The safari-style roof makes the Bronco Sport Base stand out from other SUVs on the road while giving you and your passengers extra headroom. Roof rack side rails and a flip-up rear window make it easy to load and access cargo.

On the Big Bend, you’ll find a Carbonized Gray grille that contrasts nicely with white BRONCO lettering. Two adjustable floodlights on the liftgate will help you tackle tasks or keep on tailgating long after the sun goes down. Optional fixtures include LED fog lamps and roof rack crossbars. The Outer Banks announces its arrival with a black grille showcasing white BRONCO lettering and sits atop 18-inch Ebony Black wheels. Last but not least is the Badlands, featuring signature LED lighting, metal bash plates, and front tow hooks.

Engine

The 2022 Bronco Sport is as powerful as it is stylish. Lower trim levels feature a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine capable of producing 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. If you go with the Badlands, you can take advantage of a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that generates 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. When this robust engine teams up with the available Class II Trailer Tow Package, it gives the Bronco Sport Badlands a 2,200-pound towing capacity.

All models come with an eight-speed automatic transmission that seamlessly shifts through gears for quick yet smooth acceleration.
