Fall means colorful trees, cooler weather, and decorations! With the change in weather, make sure your car is operating at 100%. Follow these tips to get your car ready for Autumn.

Your Tires

You’ve hear it once and you’ll hear it again, tires are one of the most important features of your vehicle to keeping you safe! As the temperature drops, it can affect the pressure within your tires. Make sure your tires have the correct amount of air in them to avoid any pressure related issues. It can also help increase your gas mileage. It is also important to keep an eye on your tread depth, as poor tire tread can cause traction issues. If you think you need new tires, check out our Quick Lane Tire Center!

Your Battery

You never want to be stuck somewhere because of a poor-functioning battery. With the decline in warm weather, your battery could have been stressed from the summer heat. Check your battery for signs of corrosion. This can cause the connections to become dirty and loose. Clean your connections and tighten them if need be! It is recommended to consult your vehicle’s manual before working on your battery.

Your Lights

Properly functioning headlights are an important part of vehicle safety, especially with the shorter days and longer nights. Inspect your lights to ensure your brake lights, headlights, and blinkers are all functioning properly for those cool fall evenings.
