There are five different trim levels, the EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium and Bullitt trim. If you are looking to have the wind in your hair, convertible body styles are available on all trims except the base GT and the Bullitt trims. You can get the convertible body style on the GT Premium. Standard features include 17” wheels, keyless entry, FordPass that allows convenient remote start and the ability to check on your vehicle using an app.

The 4-cylinder engine paired with the 6-speed manual transmission puts out a lively 310 horsepower at 5500 rpm. While the V-8 pumps out 460 horsepower at 7000 rpm. In tests, the GT with the V-8 engine was impressive and glided from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The 6-speed manual transmission reacts responsively and supports high-speed gear shifting. There is also a 10-speed manual transmission available.

The placement of the controls within the cabin is thoughtfully designed. In order to feel prepped for an active driving experience, the steering wheel has many customizable positions and the seats are very comfortable and support hours-long road trips. Inside the cabin, outside noise is dampened and the ride is very quiet except for the humming of the engine, but that is a sound you definitely want to hear. Customizable climate controls are placed front and center and the vents are spaced out in order to distribute air evenly. There is an automatic setting so once you set it, you can forget it. another nice interior feature are the ventilated seats. They can cool you down quickly during the summer months and maintain comfort levels during longer journeys.

The 2020 Ford Mustang has safety features like Lane Keeping Alert which makes an audible sound if the vehicle begins to drift towards the outskirts of the lane. They also have Pre-Collision Assist that can assist with braking while sounding an audible alert in the event it detects an impending collision. When in reverse, a Reverse Sensing System gives yet another audible alert when there is an object detected behind the vehicle.
