Since 1964, Dorian Ford has been a family-owned and operated Ford dealership, and today we're proud to be a woman-owned business too. We've been part of Metro Detroit for more than 60 years, and we still treat everyone who walks in like a neighbor.
Our founder, the late Mike Dorian Sr., wanted a Ford dealership where people were treated honestly and well. Mike believed every car sold was a relationship earned. From there, Dorian Ford became a name people across Metro Detroit and Macomb County trust.
A Daughter’s Dedication: Carolyn Dorian Carries the Torch
Carolyn is the owner of Dorian Ford and the daughter of founder Mike Dorian Sr. She began working with us during high school and college summers, learning firsthand the value of hard work, integrity, and putting customers first.
After earning her degree in Marketing from Michigan State University, Carolyn spent 12 years at Ford Motor Company in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service before returning to the family business.
Carolyn worked closely with her late brother, Mike Dorian Jr., whose leadership and dedication continue to inspire her and the entire Dorian Ford team every day. She's proud to carry on what her father started: honest dealing, being part of the community, and customers who come back year after year.
She'll tell you Dorian Ford runs on its loyal customers and a team that treats everyone like family. She wants Dorian Ford to stay a place where customers feel valued and our team is proud to work.
