2020 Ford Bronco Clinton Township, MIAfter a hiatus of more than 20 years, Ford has revealed the release of the fifth-generation Bronco. According to the automaker, the 2021 Ford Bronco is the flagship of an all-new 4×4 family. The new Bronco, like its predecessors, is a sports-utility vehicle that’s made for those who enjoy off-road adventures. This SUV boasts impressive off-road features, including a standard Terrain Management system with up to seven G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) modes. Here’s some more information about this rugged vehicle.

Rugged and Iconic Design

In honor of its iconic lineage, the new Ford Bronco sports retro styling that includes signature round headlamps and a horizontal cartridge grille. The SUV is available as either a two- or four-door model, with both offering easily removable roofs and doors to provide you with that true outdoors feel. You can choose from seven trim levels with the Bronco, namely the Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and First Edition.

The Base trim comes with standard features such as a Trailer Management System with five G.O.A.T modes, 16-inch steel wheels, and two front two hooks, while the Big Bend offers 17-inch aluminum wheels, LED fog lamps, and a Carbonized Gray grille. With the Black Diamond comes steel front and rear bumpers, heavy-duty bash plates, 32-inch all-terrain tires, and rock rails, while the Outer Banks features 18-inch aluminum wheels and LED head- and taillights.

The Badlands boasts a unique suspension with a front stabilizer bar disconnect, and the Wildtrak sports a black-painted hardtop, 35-inch tires, and a Wildtrak hood graphic. The limited First Edition comes with a unique hood and body-side graphics.

Two Powerful Engine Choices

The 2021 Bronco features two powerful engines. The standard engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost that pairs with a seven-speed manual transmission to produce an output of 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. If you want a more spirited performance, opt for the available twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 engine that works together with a 10-speed automatic transmission to generate 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel drive is standard with both engines and across all trims.

Functional and Comfortable Cabin

Depending on the trim, the cabin of the Bronco can range from purely functional to upscale. Those who like to travel in the open air and remove the roof and doors of the Bronco may want to go for a cabin that’s fitted with protective materials, such as rubberized flooring and marine-grade vinyl upholstery.

On the flip side, if it’s luxury you’re after, you can opt for features such as leather upholstery, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The standard Sync 4 infotainment system offers all the latest and greatest in technology, and you can upgrade with impressive features such as a 12-inch display and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.

If you like nothing better than spending time in the great outdoors, do it in style with the 2021 Ford Bronco, which will be arriving at dealerships early next year. To find out more about what the 2021 Ford Bronco can do for you, drop by Mike Dorian Ford Inc. and chat with one of our consultants.
