- Pedestrian Detection: Extends detection to people on foot.
Features That Vary by Equipment Group
These Co-Pilot360 features may be standard on a particular trim or included in an equipment group, a set of features ordered together.
- 360-Degree Camera: Combines several camera feeds into an overhead view of the vehicle and its immediate surroundings, helping you see the space around you in tight parking structures and narrow driveways.
- Adaptive Cruise Control: Adjusts speed to maintain a gap to the vehicle ahead, helping you manage changing traffic speeds on a daily commute.
- Evasive Steering Assist: Provides steering support when you steer around an obstacle you cannot avoid by braking alone.
- Front Parking Sensors: Warn you when you are close to an object ahead. They help when a long hood makes the distance harder to judge.
On a Metro Detroit Commute
On I-94, where traffic slows and picks up again for miles, Adaptive Cruise Control helps maintain a gap to the vehicle ahead. When you change lanes on I-696, BLIS alerts you to vehicles in your blind spots.
Along Gratiot Avenue, cars pull out of parking lots and pedestrians step off curbs. Pre-Collision Assist monitors the road ahead and can warn you when a collision risk develops.
Winter brings early darkness and road salt across Southeast Michigan. Auto High-Beam Headlamps handle the switching on unlit roads, lowering the beams for other traffic. Salt can quickly coat a rear view camera lens, and snow can obstruct cameras and sensors, so be sure to clear them before you pull out.

What to Try on the Test Drive
During a test drive, ask us to walk you through the available features:
- Open the driver-assistance menu: Ask us to show you the settings and explain the controls.
- Watch for the blind-spot signal: Notice how it alerts you when another vehicle enters your blind spot during normal driving.
- Look at the cruise control display: Adaptive Cruise Control shows the vehicle ahead and the following gap, rather than only a set speed.
- Check the parking aids: While reversing, watch the camera's guide lines bend as you turn the wheel and listen for the parking-sensor tone to quicken as you approach an object.
- Watch the high beams after dark: On an evening drive, notice how they lower for an oncoming vehicle.
