The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is Ford’s first all-electric crossover and the first Mustang SUV. It’s about the same size as the Ford Escape, but it looks like a larger version of the popular Mustang sports car. It’s ideal for people who need an SUV and would rather drive a Mustang. This vehicle also allows you to help the environment by reducing pollution and lower your fuel costs. Four trim levels are available: Select, California RT. 1, Premium, and GT. Here are some more things you should know about the 2021 Mustang Mach-E.
Excellent Performance
With the Ford Mustang Mach-E, you’ll get a standard-range 75.7-kilowatt-hour battery that lets you travel 230 miles with rear-wheel drive and 210 miles with all-wheel drive. You can also choose an extended-range 98.8-kilowatt-hour battery pack that can go 300 miles or 270 miles with all-wheel drive. Both types of batteries power an electric motor that’s mounted on the rear axles.
The base Select trim provides 255 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque. With all-wheel drive, it gives 417 pound-feet of torque. The California RT. 1 will give 282 horsepower, and the Premium will offer 332 horsepower with the extended-range battery. The GT will generate 459 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque, and it should be able to travel from zero to 60 mph in only about 3.5 seconds. That’s as fast as the gas-powered Mustang Shelby GT500, and the Mach-E GT will have a 250-mile range with all-wheel drive.
The Mach-E comes with 18-inch wheels, or you can pick 19- or 20-inch wheels. You can also add a suspension with adaptive dampers that adjust the firmness of your ride. It has fast-charging capabilities, and Ford’s charging network will have 12,000 stations in the United States. Ford’s standard mobile charger can add 30 miles of range overnight with a 120-volt power outlet and 80 percent of the battery life with a 240-volt outlet. A Ford charging station is available online, and an electrician can install it. It can add 32 miles of range per hour and charge the battery completely overnight.
A Comfortable, Spacious Interior
This vehicle can carry five people, and the compact electric battery leaves enough space for an extra trunk in the front. You’ll also get customizable ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, wireless charging, a 15.5-inch touch screen, and up to 60 cubic feet of cargo space in the cabin with the rear seats folded.

The optional Ford Co-Pilot 360 technology will help you stay confident on the road and protect your passengers. It includes collision assistance, automatic emergency braking, a rearview camera, lane-keeping assistance, post-collision braking, rear-braking assistance, adaptive cruise control, navigation, and more.
