2019 Ford F-150 BlueWhether you need a truck for work, or you just love the convenience of owning one, the Ford F-150 is one to consider. Here are four reasons the F-150 is the perfect truck for all your needs.

  1. Trim Levels

The F-150 comes in 7 trims, so there’s a model for every lifestyle. The base model XL is great for fleet customers. The XLT gives you access to more option packages. The Lariat and King Ranch models are outfitted with power and performance in mind.

The Platinum and Limited models are designed with luxury appointments to rival any truck in its class. The Raptor is Ford’s high performance truck, designed to thrill on and off the road.

  1. Power

The F-150 lineup has six engines to choose from, beginning with the 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine. Engineered with Ford’s port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system, and paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission this powertrain delivers 325 horsepower, and 400 lb-ft of torque.

Another is Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost. Paired with the same PFDI and 10-speed automatic transmission it gets 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The result is a best-in-class tow rating of up to 8,500 pounds.

If it’s performance you’re after check under the Raptor’s hood. You’ll find a 24-valve High-Output 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost engine with PFDI, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This gets an astounding 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque.

A 3.3-liter Ti-VCT V-6 engine is another option. Paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission this engine delivers 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque.

Ford’s iconic 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 engine delivers class-leading payload, 395 horsepower, and 400 lb-ft of torque. Customers can opt for the CNG/Propane gaseous fuel prep package for alternative fuel use.

Lastly Ford offers the 3.0-liter Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine. It delivers 250 horsepower, 440 lb-ft of torque, and a class-leading 11,500-lb tow capacity.

  1. Durability

The F-150 body is constructed from a high-strength, military-grade aluminum-alloy. This body sits on a fully-boxed, high-strength steel frame. This new material adds strength and rigidity, while actually dropping curb weight by 60 pounds.

The pick-up box is smartly designed and can be equipped with Ford’s Box-Link system that is configurable to your needs. Stowable ramps, an integrated tailgate step, and a remote tailgate release are just a few of the features you’ll love.

  1. Off-Road Capability

Ford’s 4×4 system is one of the best on the market. A shift-on-the-fly system allows you to easily switch into 4-wheel-drive with the turn of the knob. Some models include an Automatic 4WD mode. An electronically locked rear differential enhances traction control.

The Raptor comes with Fox live monotube shocks with a continuously variable damping system. The transfer case is Ford’s Torque-On-Demand system that automatically sends torque to the axle that needs it for the ultimate off-road traction.

Ford’s available bead lock capable tires allow you to air down the tires for even more traction in that loose sand, or soft surface.

There are lots of features to love on the new F-150. Come test drive one today, and see all the reasons you’ll find it a perfect fit.
